So I own one of these things. I am not sure if you've seen it, but its a large album with information about various emperors, countries, etc. I bought it just because it came with about 40 ancient coins. Most are expected low grade stuff, but a few decent coins in there, a couple Sassanid, etc. I don't have much in it, (heaven knows what the original owner paid, I would be ashamed to know), but feel bad tossing the thing. The coins that are in there are worth more than I paid, but I don't "need" them, I just bought a good deal. What do you guys think I should do with it? Sell just the album to someone who may want it, sell it with all of the coins in it, or just keep the coins and pitch the album? just wanting opinions. Chris
I remember seeing one of those i think on forvm in a thread. I thought it was kinda need but then thought it sucked for some reason or another. I think it would be good for a new ancient collector. Maybe LonegunLawyer might be interested? Sell the coins with it to make more attractive.
Ah, is this it chris? https://www.littletoncoin.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product5|10001|10001|-1|112304|56823
Yes, sell it with the coins, but don't entertain offers per se in this forum area I wish the url didn't go up, now I feel curious, but will look for your B/S/T/A posting. Jim
I never would Jim. Yes, that is the album Mat, thanks for the link. I will pull it out tonight and take another look at it. I was just reminded about it since someone else was talking about albums, and I have been holding on to this thing not knowing what to do with it. I am not an "album" kind of guy.
