little interesting--die clash?

looks like a die clash to me/ also the front of the suit is missing. what do you think??--BILL

It is hard to tell from the picture, but it could be.

 

looks like it to me. The missing suit (i call it disappearing chest) seems to be more common than I first thought.

 

It does look like the result of a die clash. The front of Lincoln's suit being effected is a likely result of the die abrasion used to remove the clash marks from the die. There are some 1983 cents that were struck with dies so abraded that Lincoln's neck is missing too
