Found this penny last night.. awesome looking. the tears are perfect starting from small working up to bigger sized tears. so perfectly arranged! just thought I'd share it with my friends on CT
a junky dino-lite i'm getting ready to throw out the window.. it took me like 20 minutes just to focus on the coin. It use to be awesome.. I think one of my kiddies must of went bug hunting with it or something. lol
I'm gonna use a different camera thingy tomorrow and hopefully it will show how truely awesome this coin is!!
Hi tinytinkerbell, I posted these just for fun. 2006 #1 & #2 booger lincoln, 2003 pierced ear Lincoln, 2005 large nostril Lincoln. lol!
Its his consience eating him alive because he told a lie in 7th grade. Its been nagging at him all these years and now he's finally letting it out after being bottled up.
Hi Brian, it has "Dino-Lite Digital Microscope" on the scope itself and then a sticker with "BigCatch AM211" taped to the wire. I think AM2011 might be the same as the AM211.... so, that being said, yes. lol.. I have that one.. Do you have it as well and is it giving you trouble too? I went and bought another scope (Celestron). The Celestron only goes to 150x zoom and doesn't capture pictures too well but I guess it will do until I decide to break the bank again and get something else. *sigh*
ok, here's the pictures with the Celestron. As you can see pictures are blurry around the edges where the scope won't focus.. Arrrgg...
LOL! Actually I do, they make for conversation and laughter with my kids when they ask to see it, especially when they have friends over. Silly fun. LOL!
Ohh, alright. ...No, I don't have a dino-lite but I was considering purchasing one. I am looking for a good way to capture pictures of my collection but I am unsure of what is the "best for your money". I have researched the dino-lite machines a little and they look to do a pretty good job, but by the way you describe it I beginning to reconsider. Any suggestions of quality digital microscopes or other sources of inhanced quality photos for my coins? -Brian
Cool the above is good to know, thanks tinkerbell and Brian... and by the way were did you purchase the miroscopes from, i sure could use a good one?
my dino-lite was absolutely fabulous at one time.. but I think my daughter got a hold of it! lol.. I found some pictures of the inside her mouth on my desktop so that really might be the main reason the pictures are coming out terrible now.. that and she loves to see bugs up close..
