Lincoln penny 1952

    Hi,

    Maybe you know if it is a damage after mint or it is a possible mark just after the date... look like a 5 or a S... i don't know.

    Seeming how it looks nothing like the 5 in the date, nor does it look anything like an S mint mark, and for the fact that an S mint mark would not be on a P cent, this is definitely post mint IMO.

    It's just damage. Look at the two marks on the rim. Whatever did that damage moved the metal that you are asking about.
