Lincoln lamination error's??? Help

    These also came out of that junk jar that the silver penny from a previous thread did. do these look like errors or are they just damaged junk. Also have a good one for ya for tomorrow. Just found a 1943 lincoln and abe's profile looks like someone scratched a perfect etching around his face. Almost to perfect for someone to trace around his profile by hand and also it does not continue all the way around the backside of the head. Camera batt is dead but I'll try to snap a photo tomorrow.

    Those are great pics!!! It doesn't look post mint to me. I'm voting for laminations. They are very large and especially nice, with some of the flakes still on the coins. Usually those thin flakes got lost in circulation. Very nice, thanks for sharing.

    I'd say that jar was a little more than a junk jar ! I think I'd be checking every coin in there very carefully ;)

    Nice finds. I'm voting with Becky again...those are laminations in my book.

    real nice find!!! I would agree, i thinks that is more then a junk jar... get a very nice luope, and check 'em all CAREFULLY!!!!
