lincoln error coin

A friend gave me this coin and I don't know why it looks like this, how it might have happened, or if it's worth anything. Any ideas? Having trouble loading photos, says photo is too large. don't knowhow to fix it.

We may have some ideas but we need photos, full sized, of the coin in question.

 

I'll try again. But it won't let me saying uploaded image is too big.

 

Try using your cell phone camera and cropping the image.

 

I agree edit and crop the image also get as close as you can to fill the screen space without it being blurry.
