i was handed a Whitman album from the 1940's that covers Lincoln cents from 1909 to 1940 this morning. the set is mostly complete less the key dates and a few others. the 1909 VDB has been initialed and has arrows scratched into it pointing to the date and the VDB on the reverse. its a shame too, it is in nice condition otherwise. the coins from the teens are mostly in F12 or so shape, some of the twenties are VF or so with the best being the 1939, easily an XF coin. not a bad score for my son's collection. -Steve
