I have a couple of lincoln cents and would like to get an idea of the value. I am not able to post pix yet. 1. 1983-D Bronze in excellent condition. 2. 2000 wide AM in good condition 3. 1988 transitional rev of 89 in excellent condition. Any feedback would be appreciated. Regards, Mike L
You got 3 cents then in my opinion. Some might pay a little more for the Wide AM but those that don't collect errors/varieties of that type don't bother.
I'd have to disagree if the coins are in au or above condition. The 88 with 89 reverse might become worth a lot of money or might not.
The pics of the 89, labeled with a rotated die, that rotation is within the tolerance before any premium might be added.
Sorry bout that. I messed up and mislabeled the coin. The coin I think is a 1988 Rev of 89. The fg font is the latter type. What do u think ?
While his coins may not be worth a premium to you or every collector, if they are as he claims, each has value well beyond face. The key is marketing them to the "right" kind of collector. OP, If your 83-D is really "bronze", it should be a rather valuable coin. If of the proper weight for what you claim it to be, submitting would be a wise move. The 2000 wide AM, while not a high dollar coin is worth many hundreds of times its face value. As for the 88 rev 89, it too will have some value, although I have no idea what a collector might be willing to pay in today's market.
