Hi, I can't seem to find any pictures of a 1942 Wrong planchets besides glass. I have a 1942 D weighing 2.9, which seems extremely off. It's not magnetic, so not a steel cent. Has anyone seen the tin Lincoln 1942? Thanks in advance!
That is because Steel Cents were minted in 1943 1942 were made of Copper. Your Cent was maybe Acid Treated and it weighs less Post a picture and we can give you more information.
