I was watching the Live Heritage Auction yesterday trying to get a feel for this years' market - and it's great fun to watch! A very rare Lincoln Memorial Cent came on the block. It was a PCGS certified 1969-S Doubled Die in MS64RB with CAC. The total of these is estimated at around 5??? Any way the opening bid was $40,000 and it was finally hammered for $70,000 with a buyers premium of $10,500. Total $80,500. Not bad for a cent just over 50 years old!
