I believe this Lincoln is AT or recolored or something. I bought it because I liked the way it looks - definitely different. Anyone know what the horizontal lines might be caused from? They appear to be raised and limited to the fields. Could this be some sort of delamination or defect from the planchet?

They are the size of die gouges, but look like die polish lines. They are raised aren't they?

They do appear to be raised.

Too many of those lines are going through the devises to be die polish lines. And those lines are dead parallel on both sides - possible, but extremely unlikely for die scratches. I am pretty sure those are improper alloy mixture lines. Depending on the containment, they often lead to lamination. I am pretty sure that is the case here.

I agree with rlm, I think it's a planchet issue.
