Lincoln cent 1983/83??

Where do they come up with this coin being a 1983/83? Ebay 270405460248. For some reason I can't copy & paste it.

Good question, the correct terminology is DDR.

 

The most revealing thing is that they give a closeup of the date, but not a closeup of the lettering on the reverse. These 83 DDR are so low priced for the variety. IMO.

Now I see, It's the reverse lettering that is doubled. I thought it was the date.
