I have got this coin but I couldn't find much of information about it. A few things on it makes me think that it might be the ddo 04 or simply that difficult 1972 variety cause of the few marks it has on specific spots on it. I would appreciate any information about this coin given. Thanks
I see a faint S mint mark... It's not a Philadelphia minted cent. Look at 1972-S DDO-002 in coppercoins.
With a good eye, you can see the die gouge right of the N in IN. Better pictures should show it. Coins in bad shape though.
On the reverse you can also see two Die gouges left of C in CENT and one above the lower cursor of the E in CENT.
One thing Tim! You can see what ever you want, but to impress your thinking on a new member of Ct is another. You are in know way an expert, in Fact I think you live your life in sorrow and wish everyone else lived in the same world as you. This coin Sorry "OP" is not only corroded but shows no evidence of what Rare tim has to say. He is a troll looking for fun! and doesn't care what happens in the process. He has been told and shown evidence with every post he has made. This has not only P'd him Off but made him a scorned Troll. and personally I wish he would educate himself of What an actual Variety is. But this is an open Forum and you don't need a PHD to post, you just need thicker skin than he has shown.
On die 4, the'L' of 'Liberty' is heavily doubled in the North-South direction. Along with small rim cuds on the rim next to 'Liberty'. Especially, the largest of the small cuds, right next to the 'L' on the rim.
