Looking for info on next release on lincoln cent ? May 14th in Illionis at a state park?? any limits and cost per roll???? just looking for some info if out there TIA
I read the people there can buy up to six P rolls. I gues it is at face value, but they'll probably charge for parking.
It's a little over face but not much some have a postage stamp on them and you have to pay for that so it kicks it up to about a buck. Ice
Also the mints store in Washington/Denver Also the mints stores in Washington/Denver but there will be no boxes offered just six rolls at face.
Interesting.. I'm in the Denver area but hadn't heard that these were available through the mint store here. Would love to pick some up, and would make a trip to the store if they are availble there. How do I confirm they are going to be for sale there? Is this on the Mint website somewhere? or?? Thanks for any help...:smile
Another cointalker from Denver a week or so back reported that Denver will NOT HAVE ROLLS. Try this number: Denver Mint Gift Shop Located directly adjacent to the visitor’s entrance, the gift shop has United States Mint coin sets, commemorative coins, numismatic collectables, books, games, and United States Mint souvenirs. You are welcome to visit the gift shop after your tour. Sales Information: (303) 572-9500
You can always get'em here....http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...ctId=14921&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10111 Although the cost is prohibitive.
Not really THAT prohibitive when you consider that the first cent in mint wrapped rolls is going for $50-80 a set. $9.00 is chicken feed. The question is how many rolls of coin #2 will the mint make and how fast will they ship? Will they sell out again?
Probably will sell out. As for cashing in on these things...just against my nature. Can't do it.......
I can respect that but I'm living paycheck to paycheck. I survived 2 rounds of layoffs but you never know about the next one coming mid summer at the end of the fiscal year. I see this as an opportunity to stock up some money for a rainy day and put food on the table. It's not like using the extra cash to wax the learjet ya know. These are tough times and getting worse, providing for my family is my top priority and if selling a roll of 50 cents for $100 will put food on the table, so be it. I can sleep at night knowing I won't be homeless next month and hopefully not the next one either.
