I have found another penny with this pmd, anyone have a clue as to what caused this? It looks like sandstone, and an attack on the white house by a miniture machine gun. I do know that the shots are infamous zinc blisters but the sandstone look? Thanks !

It was used as a target for a BB gun?

Depending on the size of the pellets but these hits are to small. I just think that since I found these on separate occasions and months apart that there may be an answer as to how this happened.

Regardless of the source of the damage, it is PMD. The "sandstone" look could just be environmental damage.
