    Hi all,

I'm hoping to keep my luck going. I got a great box of pennies from the bank over Christmas, so there will be a few coins, questions, and pictures coming your way. Please see the attached pictures.

    Thank You In Advance,

    Brandon.

I think it's Die Deterioration Doubling. Very nice coin by the way.

I agree…results from worn dies. The obverse perimeter ridge ring is a dead giveaway.

Here’s a tip to improve your lighting and cut the glare on your pix:

Looks like you have 2 light sources from 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock (9k and 3k, as they say in the biz)…try from 10k and 2k, use equal power bulbs and keep them 40 watts or less.

To cut glare, try diffusing the light. An easy way to do this is to bounce your light source off white card stock/copy paper from behind or off to the side. Then just experiment with light strengths…imo…Spark

Worn dies is what caused what you see.
