Hi, here is the 1972 DDO. I had to do a separate post due to the number of photos. Die 1.

If you look carefully on the rev, the required die gouge on the reverse over the "D" in united is visible.

Very Nice!!! Didn't realize the 72 had so much doubling on it.

 

Harry, Die 1 does! the other 7 major dies aren't as strong. Many of the ebay offerings are for one of the lesser dies,especially if it is not slabbed, and it hard to tell sometimes with the Cherrypicker's guide photos.

I just love those Doubled Dies.

 

I have always like the oddities ( I guess people also ). DDO are my favorites, but I like all varieties as they are different from normal :goofer:

This one is going to PCGS very soon. Everyone really likes it.
