They made a Gold Buffalo Ultra High Relief?
Or maybe a Reverse Proof Gold Buffalo Ultra High Relief?
Or a Silver Reverse Proof Buffalo UHR?

Or do I just have too much thinking time on my hands?

Possum, I'm in on the gold ones, sounds good to me.

 

The Buffalo design is way cool. Having it in silver would be great for the working stiff.

I need to put that on my list.

 

It seems that the "powers that be" at our mint are lacking just a smidgen in the creativity department. Especialy if you take a look at what the other mints are puting out. I'd wager the US Mint could make a lot more money if they were more creative. The 2001 Silver buffalo was a big hit. I say bring back the classics!!! And make them cool dang it!!!

 

They (the US Mint) make plenty of profit producing garbage. Not much motivation to make things with actual class.

 

Next time I'm in Frisco, I'll put in an application! O' wait, I never go to Frisco, that place is just nasty! It's worth the drive to Denver though!
