I recall reading another article where the US Treasury is planning to send Millions of 1¢, 5¢, and 10¢ coins to Zimbabwe. I was wondering what that might do to coin populations in this country. Specifically, I was wondering what would happen if they sent all the 2009 5¢ and 10¢ coins over there...that they didn't release here. (I bought a few rolls of each...just in case)

How 'bout all them Prez dollars they've got locked up in the vault? Send some of them over seas.

It could happen! Imagine if these all of a sudden became "great rarities"?

Wouldn't do them any good, they need small change. That would be like the Fed trying to solve a change shortage in a US community by shipping them $10 bills.

Actually, maybe a very good deal. For one USD and shipping from them, we ship 10 dimes ( value in metal , .018$ each or 18 cents for $1 USD. Since that might look bad, send a few nickel also at 4.8 cents each ( but higher shipping fees)

    Isn't FOREX wonderful.
