I went into LNE today looking to buy a shield nickel they used to have and of course it sold. So I was doing some perusing around the large cents. When, I think is name is Bryd, sat a complete Liberty Head Nickel collection in front of me. I do think I have ever seen a complete collection that looked so good. Well except some of the coins were not facing the right way in the capital holder. I wish someone from the forum lived here to take a look at them - just to confirm how nice it is. He told me he put the collection together in the 70's, sold it and just recently bought it back. I really do not know enough about liberty nickels to say his grade of MS65 was correct - but I did not see a coin with a bad mark on it(I really never checked the reverse). I really do believe every coin was MS60 or higher. The liberty and hair details looked so good on the 1885, 1886 and 1912 S. Man I would love to have collection like that. I probably could afford it(if I did not buy anything else the next two years), but I thought it would not be as much fun as putting a set together myself. Of course I won't, but what a set. Sigh.....so many nice coins...
