Howdy, Stopped in to my local coin dealer to pick up Numismatic News and noticed that they had Liberty Dollars for sale at $24.95. I chatted with one of the guys and they're aware of the lawsuit, but thought they might be curios to someone. $25 is pricey for a mightbecurio with silver at $12.88 Also, in the July 17th issue of NumNews there's a note that the ANA has had special Liberty Dollars minted (limit 1000) that they will have hand hallmarked at the convention - a small map of wisconsin and von NotHaus's personal mintmark. You can get them there for $20 or if you're not going, you can order one (to be shipped post-convention and hallmarking) for $25 + $5 s&h. I'm not buying, nor selling, but thought it was interesting. peace, rono
rono: My subscription to NN lapsed. Is that the ANA convention in Milwaukee? Perhaps I'll........never mind, I just woke up.
NN subscription is pretty cheap. You can get 52 issues (1 year) for $25 on their site. I'm wondering why the ANA chose the Liberty Dollar folks for their coins.
am eagle free you should have subscribe at $35.99 a year and get a free 2007 am eagle unc silver dollar. your cost for am eagle will then be around $11.00. which is not bad. 35.99 - 25.00.
