    Your 1796 is an S-89, Rarity-3.
    Severely corroded, edge damage. Worth $60-110.

    Well I agree with Eduard's assessment. Not much good at attributing these early dates

    I'll defer to Eduard's attribution.

    Indeed severely corroded and damaged.

    Probable ground find; What I'm thinking is that it looks perhaps like it could have been tumbled too...
