Liberia Proof $20

I've no idea about Liberian coins. I came across this auction on ebay:

Does anyone have any idea how much this is worth? I'm considering bidding, but not sure how far to go.

Go figure on this but true, I wouldn't pay any more than FV($20). At least $20USD.

 

That was my initial thought too....Just wanted to consult the experts to be sure.

By the way, what is your opinion about the coin? Just curious.

Hmm...yeah, I came across several different designs for this $20 coin...all related to American history.

Would be an interesting set to compile ....

Anyway, I won the auction...$5.55 for the coin + $3.34 for shipping....I guess it's worth it just for its novelty...and it's my first proof with silver content.:kewl:

 

Wow! Not to bad.:thumb: Its alright, everyone makes mistakes, I have made many myself. I didn't think the conversion looked right last night, but I was just too tired to look it up.
