I have been watching the sales of the Lewis and Clark leather pouches on eBay lately. They seem to be selling pretty well, some more than others, but most at a profit. Anyone want to hazzard a guess as to the short and long term futures of these sets? I've seen trends before where there is a buying frenzy because things are new, and then, after the commotion is over, you can't give them away. On the other hand sometimes it only creates more of a demand

Also, because they are leather, how do you store these sets for long term? If you use desiccant it seems like it would dry out the leather, if you don't it seems like it might be subject it to mold.

The coin and currency sets have reached their platue, and the pouch set has also. I did not purchase any of these personally. I don't have any way to predict the future, but in my opinion they are all they will ever be.

Since some of the sets currently sell for 4 times issue price - I'd say that's about it. Question still remains as to how long they'll stay that way.
