Let's tract 2009-P & D Lincolns in MS-66 and 67 red both First strike and others. At the show Sat. a fairly well known dealer was offering 2009-P Lincolns type 1 in PCGS MS-66 Red First Strike designation for $35 each - he had a couple of dozen. He told me many were coming back 66 but not one 67 had been graded yet, as of April 4Th. If a couple of folks on here can access PCGS and NGC Pop. figures would you be willing to post these new Lincolns #'s so we can all see the #'s of higher graded coins as we go along. Number of 1st strike type one PCGS 2009-P & 2009-D in MS-66 or higher?? Number of type one (without 1st strike designation) 2009-P & D in 66 or higher?? Please help as we could keep this as an ongoing thread for 2009?
I just checked eBay and there is now one 67 I just checked eBay and there is now one 67 at around $360.
Having gone through quite a few 2009D rolls, I find it difficult to find any that might be over MS65. Spotting is quite a problem with this issue from my small sample. I have only opened 1 roll of 2009P, and they seem less spotted and higher quality. Cherrypicking the 2009D for the 66+ coins could well be worth the effort once you can get them for face or a little more. Jim

Still have been unable to locate any local banks with the New Cent Rolls, and have yet to come across any in circulation in my parts.
