I submitted my first coins to NGC at the Baltimore show on Friday. It was very hard to hand someone my 1930 Iceland Kronur set. I also submitted 3 other Iceland coins as well. Now for the worry and the waiting. I know they will be fine, its kind of like sending your kid to their first day of school!

NGC will take good care of the "KIDS". It may be 6 weeks before you see them again though! Kinda like summer vacation for your coins! Quick run out and buy some more while they're gone!

Good advice from Wooleytree Mark. Just think how cool they're going to be when you get them back. I used to send coins in all the time and never had a problem once, so relax and enjoy the anticipation.

moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

all mine went straight into my storage system, no need to have them encased in a plastic coffin. and pay for the pleasure as well.............

What is your storage system? I'd like to hear more about that. The main reason I sent these coins in to be graded was more to have them protected. I honestly don't really care what the grade is. I just don't want anything to happen to my 1930 Kronur set. They are by far my favorite coins in my collection. I would be really upset if something happened to them.
I have very few graded coins, most of my collection is raw.

    Thanks for the post Moneyer!

I'd like that set myself, I watched a 2 kronur awhile back on an auction but didn't pull the trigger.
