The scholarly Leo VI on a somewhat strange throne looking regal.

I love this mixture of Greek and Latin.
The legend is Greek, but phonetically written in Latin letters, except for the θ which is a Greek letter...
In Greek the legend is : Λέων ἐν θεῷ βασιλεὺς Ῥωμαίων (Leon, in God King of the Romans)
Which is phonetically rendered in Latin letters as: Leon en θeo basileus Romeon
