It's kind of like the doubled knees or feet defect except the only feature above the knees is smooth copper. I found a 2000 and it was not guide listed and a few days later I found a 1974 D Hi-date with the same exact error. I have coffee cans full of copper mems that I sort through every night so I did not find these in my change. Anyway, has anyone even heard of this defect?
Could be an over polished die. I found one recently where Lincoln's statue is completely gone. Pics would certainly help.
