2005 and 2006 sold out from the mint (50,000 each) ... on eBay you can get them at $30 LESS (~$100) than what the mint was selling them for! Dunno when/if 2007 will be offered, but the 2006 came out around Sept.
legacy? Please provide more info/details on the 'legacy' sets? I do not recall seeing or hearing about these...
Legacy sets are similar to the old Prestige sets. They have a comlete current year proof set plus two commemorative coins in them, all packaged is a special 'folder'. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of the 2005 set.
Now available on the U.S. Mint website. It's release was not publicized this time. It just appeared at noon on the 25th.
Here is the link, hope this works: http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=14284&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10111
Product will be available for shipping 12/03/2007 price is 135.00 IMO this is not a great deal for the coins you get. I know the legacy set is different but the same coins separate would only cost 39.00 & 35.00 for the Jamestown coins 26.95 for proof set Total of 100.95 http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...ctId=14284&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10141
Hey Phillydog I agree. It is overpriced. But, I still ordered one. The reason is I inherited the entire Prestige set, was given the first year Legacy Set as a Christmas gift, so I bought last years myself and figured I may as well continue the run. I'd say I'm ahead on this run of mint "stuff" (being kind)
