Legacies of Freedom - ASE + British 2 pound coins

    The Mint sold a maximum of 50,000 Legacies of Freedom back in 2003/04 and then stopped...Why? :confused:

    Looks like a nice set with the Unc. ASE and two pound british pound silver coins. Probably would have been better in a proof version, but why didn't they continue to sell these? Both the Brits and our Mint are producing the coins anyway, no international cooperation? :eek:

    Well they didn't sell really well (they weren't promoted ) and possibly also because the British sold the sets at a lower price than the US Mint did.
