I have the opportunity again this year to teach a 4-day comprehensive class about Morgan dollars at the ANA Summer Seminar from June 24-27. You will learn A LOT about this series over the 4 day class, including grading mint state coins, spotting problem coins, PL and DMPL coins, using price guides and pop reports, toned coins, varieties, errors, and any unanswered questions you might have by the end of the week. Teaching with me will be Isaac Wallie, a dealer formerly with Apmex, now on his own, and Michael Fey, co-creator of the Top 100 VAMs. We've had guests pop into the classroom including Red Book editor Ken Bressett, former PCGS graders, and ANA presidents. If you've never been to the summer seminar, it's a fun week at "coin camp" with lots of opportunities both in and out of the classroom to chat coins with other collectors, dealers, and researchers. Scholarships are available from the ANA and assorted other clubs, including a full tuition scholarship available from the SSDC. YN scholarships are plentiful, and are funded largely by a benefit auction put together and run by the YNs during each week of the seminar. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the class or the summer seminar in general. If I'm in violation of rules by posting this here, then the mods can delete this with no further fanfare required.
