While going through my late Grandmother's coin collection I've run across a small envelope that is labeled 1978 Lincoln Leaning D with three pennies inside. I cannot find any information on a Leaning D Penny. Ever heard of this? Got any ideas?
    Thanks!

How far is it tilted and which direction?

Very slightly and to the right. I've just posted a question about how to add a pic to my post so that I can attach a picture.

Thats pretty much normal since prior to 1990 the mintmarks were punched in by hand. The punches were very small and accuracy wasn't a real big deal. If the MM tilts between 45 and 90 degrees theyare worth a couple dollars...

If you can find a guy that classifies these as a variety, sell them to him. Most people probably would classify them as a normal business strike, and nothing more.
