John,those are very nice.You are branching out into British Commonwealth numismatics.You need to get some coins from the Republic of India (1950 onwards) into your collection as well.That is a very challenging series to collect,especially in the coins from 1 Rupee upwards.

Nice additions. The 1889 rupee has a very clear "c" incused in lower flower, making it a Calcutta mint rupee.

No Aidan I don't plan to yet.

 

John,the modern Indian coins are usually quite cheap,especially the commemorative coins from 5 Paise right up to the 50 Paise.I've got quite a few of them myself that I've picked up along the way.
