My wife comes home from work and drops a coin on the floor. I hear it hit the floor. I figured it was a coin I dropped and she picked it up, like she always does. Anyways, I think nothing of it. But, as luck would have it, I walk past it on the counter and pick it up. It's not one of my MANY dropped coins. It's a Memorial penny. I naturally look at the date. 1998....OK...cool! I need to look at the reverse for the "Wide A M" variety. And guess what....???? It's a WAM! A "WIDE... A M". Now this is not a huge find. It's in great shape. Sara, my wife, then tells me she couldn't find the "save a penny-take a penny" container at the gas station she just stopped at. And, for some reason, there wasn't a "donation" jug for coins. Very odd because there is ALWAYS one or both of these containers.....ALWAYS at this particular station. So, she brings it home and I just happen to hear it fall. This is how you look for coins.....take notes!
It's it...found like 50 or 60 of them and 2000 WAMS roll searching. Only 2 1999 wams! I kinda quit looking for them....and then BAM!
