    Where can I discover the comparison/exchange value of the Indian Rupee to the British Pound in the late 17th century? Thanks for your help.

    Thank you for the link. At the end of the 17th century, the Indian Rupee was the major trading currency between east and west ~ as the American Dollar is today.
