Just a few minutes before leaving to the Mountain for the new year family celebration, I intended to post this ancient lamp which could also figure in the " Gems and Minerals" thread of our section of " ancient Coins". The lamp has an engraved cross within. I cannot guess whether it's Byzantine or Late Roman Bronze or anything else? In all cases, I wish you a pleasant Happy New Year 2017. Cheers..
