    A couple of recent purchases to round out the year. Faustina Senior, of course and Gallienus, of course.

    Love that sandy Gallienus. How is it attributed to Samosata?

    It's Gobl's attribution, based on hoard evidence. RIC simply says "Asian mint"; Sear simply says "Syrian mint."
