can anyone recommend a good online source for finding the value of currency? I collect gold and silver coins, but know nothing bout notes.
I have several large notes .... a local dealer said he'd give me $60 for the lot. I dont believe him.

    for example-
1917 two dollar red seal XF
    20 dollar blue seal VF
1899 one dollar blue seal VF

I also have many circulated silver certificates, inlcuding $50's. are these only worth face value?

    thanks, jim
sorry, no photos at this time.

do the same with eBay completed auctions search.

Coin World's Paper Money Values can also be considered but like any published price guide, consider the mark up to values printed and what the market is actually paying for pieces, so double check with Heritage and eBay sources.
