OK who's the fruit with daddy's inheritance buying up 1914 FRNotes?
Been trying to score a $20 from any FRB in VF or greater, and G0D BLESS everyone I bid on ends up in the mid $200's! According to my book, 250 should get you CHCU!
My book shows there isn't a much more premium over the Pilgrim $5 or Industry $10?
I payed around 80 bucks each for those in VF+, and I thought that was a little high?
Has anyone got an explanation for this fruitiness?
BTW: Were talking raw, cause I won't touch over priced certified stuff...

Back to '29 brown seals till I can buy one durning the day or when buffy is out washing his Lambo...

Take a look at the notes I auctioned off at Heritage..the lesser grade of them all was a AU58..

Nothing sells in that range for an AU to CHCU note...the grades I was after was always chcu to Gem.

This was several years ago and I never got one at that price range.

    Brown Seals?

What type of brown seals do you collect? Federal Reserve Bank notes, or type 1 & 2 Nationals?

Good luck Ron! I agree with your assessment of ebay. Sometimes it seems I can get decent notes, or I watch one end low and then bid on another one in exactly the same condition and it goes through the roof. Someone must catch wind of it and keep bidding on those types of notes. Good days and bad days on that site...

Isn't that the truth Doc! I have two $5 Pilgrims, one in XF, and one in F. Can you guess which one was cheaper? If you answered the F, than your wrong :)
I'm learning the best deals are the one's that end during the day...
BTW: Scored a $100 Brownie yesterday. It's beat to heck, but fits my beer budget, and I don't even drink...
Collecting Large currency is rough on a beer budget? LOL

Yeah Ron, I had some luck on large-size notes in decent conditon and I seem to remember that they ended during the middle of the week at like 2pm. No one is on at that time and you can get them for book value or cheaper then.
