Large Federal Reserve $5.00 Series of 1914

    Here's another paper find from today. It's a Large $5.00 from 1914. No rips or tears just looks good for it's age.

    That's good to hear. I paid $100.00. I'm new to paper $$ so I'm still leqarning. Thanks for the info.

    I have not been watching these on ebay but it seems you did okay. You may want to watch a few auctions close this weekend to see how they compare. I would suggest getting a good book! That's a lot of money to put down without knowing for sure what they are worth.

    All good info. Actually, I did have a coin book dated 2002 and a paper money book today. It's more of grading it with another collector issue. We just meet in the middle. Overall , I'm pleased with my transaction.

    The guy has (2) $5 notes that are stamped national? So this will be my big purchase coming up.

    Nice note. I have a currency book price guide from Whitman for sale in the classified. It's the first book I started with as it has general prices of large size and small size.
