Large die crack?

the line runs from Lincolns hairline in a circular fashion down to the 4 then stops and runs in the same type of motion through his chest. It is not a smooth crack but full of irregularities/wandering, although slight. Also, it is a raised line that runs under my 5x loupe. Sorry about lousy pic quality, its the best I can muster with my camera. What do you guys think?

Here's a better one, I used my loupe as a close up lens, worked wonderfully!

looks more like a defective planchet than a die crack to me

Just a question. Could this be the result of long term storage with a dime next to it causing some type of chemical reaction and/or physical abrasion?

It would have to be smaller than a dime. Perhaps a small washer.

That is a good question. It seems to make a complete circle, but just stronger in certain areas...
