    Hello!

Asking for assistance identifying the variety of these two 1820 large cents.

The first is a large date variety (large 0) with inner curled 2 making it a N-9 or N-15 (?) according to Bowers. Also beautiful toning on this one. VG to F grade on this?

The second is a small date variety (small O) also with inner curled 2 making it one of the N-4 to N-8 (?) varieties according to Bowers. Strong VF grade on this?

I am not sure how to identify more in detail so appreciative any inputs.

    Thanks!

First one is N-9, looks 10/12. Second one is N-8, looks 30.

Not sure either would grade problem-free (cleaning and rim bumps) but maybe. Very cool large cents, nonetheless.

Get Noyes book if you want to learn more about attributing.
