This is a very odd medal - read carefully. It is basically a coronation medal, quite large, about 75mm in diameter. It appears to be zinc, although an article I found says this design has been struck in silver, copper, and blackened copper (but not zinc). All examples appear to have a date error, with Roman numerals showing 1336 instead of 1836, and apparently there are many restrikes, varieties, and sizes over the years. There is no way to pin down the exact status of this piece, but even if it is a 20th Century restrike, I think the postpaid price is fair. This example has "traces" of blackening, especially on the edges, but it is clearly not copper. I would call it VF to XF, with no marks in the field, and only minimal wear. There is no case or display box. It is written up at: http://www.austriancoins.com/medalsassorted.html Price, $20 postpaid. PayPal or money order, no cash please. Shipped only to the U.S., all sales final. Additional information welcomed.
