Lamination error

    What do you think of this lamination error on the obverse?

    I do not think so. If that were a lamination, the edges would be torn from the coin. Your edges gently slope into the coin. That would be a strike through IMO.

    Really? I have so little experience. I thought it was lamination because the edges appear to me to have a tearing type at the surface along a ridge; as if the surface broke through (in the middle of that depression).
