Funny I noticed this current ebay item of a NGC Attributed Mint Error with the misspelling of the word LAMINATION They put LAMIANTION on the label and it is also spelled incorrect on their website when you do the Verify NGC Certification Just was wondering if the person who reviews the information for their label making, data entry and slabbing notice.. or they just don't care NOT MY COIN -
Lol! There's a video on YouTube showing the NGC grading process made by NGC themselves and it tells you that it goes to a person who checks the information that is written down is correct, then it is checked before and after they put the coin in the slab and then it is checked again after it is slabbed to match the description and grade. I guess four people at NGC aren't too good at reading things and CHECKING, which is their main job.

Spelling is no longer taught in school. Hasn't been for years. No wonder this happens. It's sad but makes for great conversation and unique slabs.
Maybe you should offer it for 40K like the fella with his quarter. Priceless label error...One of a kind...you'll never see another like it anywhere. LOL.
Shocking. My last experience with a third party grading service was like a roller coaster. I would say considerably more shocking than spelling mistakes...
