Label Error Rev Prf Silver Eagle PCGS

    Check this out:

PCGS certified a REV PROOF silver eagle with a "W" mint mark on the label. ALL of these were minted in Philadelphia!! Has anyone else had one certified from PCGS? I hope they correct the label. I don't see how the coin could be worth more due to an incorrect label. You buy the coin, not the label.

Check the US Mint site. The only ones I see are "W" mints. Pic is from their site.

This is from the Mint website:
"Both the proof and uncirculated American Eagles carry the “W” mint mark of West Point while the reverse proof coins carry the “P” mint mark of Philadelphia."

Thus the label on the PCGS holder should read "2006-P"

The picture looks like a ASE Proof, not Reverse Proof!
