It appears that the long dreamed of and prayed for on-line edition of the Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins is upon us. I wait with bated breath :loud: NumisMaster There - edit complete
I guess they changed their minds sometime in the last few years. Tom Michael told me at the Long Beach show about 3 years ago that they had no plans to go on line.
Doug, thanks for that link.I signed up yesterday,as it would be nice to see Krause online, plus we can help Krause out as far as correcting errors in their listings gf course,it would hopefully be a lot easier to report new coins & banknotes. Does anyone know if there will be an online Pick catalogue? Aidan.
Thanks for the heads up, Doug. Will be interesting to see what the costs of signing up are, and what this will do to the sales of their books. My sense is that it will take a while to really eat into the print media version, but we'll see.
There IS a good reason for Krause to make them online. Nowadays the Russian mafia and ex-Soviet nations are pirating Krause into pdf versions and selling them in the black market. In my opinion, to go against online is just retarded, if not going a step back in technology.
