well, i have a one won, 100 hwan ten won and ten hwan, i was wondering what you guys would grade / value these notes as any help would be appreciated, -mark
thanks, most of the korean bills i have have the one strong fold down the middle, probably from bad storage, but when i got them for a dollar with the rest of my coins in a lot, ( i bought it at a library flea market) i store them now in nice places, and i got like $60 worth of silver and these bills and some mpcs in the bag so not bad for one dollar,
Here's a thread with a 100 hwan You might want to PM Daggarjon or De Orc if you don't get any responses about the other notes and need info about them.
BTW, They are nice looking notes but I'm not sure which are paired face and backs the way they are posted in the thread. I like the magenta note and that boat vignette on the right side of the note with SN: C30825148C You can research others and find info about your notes on Bank Note Bank
They seem to be posted in no order and since I don't know anything about Korean notes I wouldn't automatically try to put the colors together, plus some colors are faded/different and the file sizes have the images all at different scale to one another. Since some notes have Korean characters I can't tell which notes they belong to.
Hi Mark sorry to say but I dont know the 1st thing about Korean notes so unfortunatly am of little help to you As for condition again this is a matter of interpritation and my eye sight is no longer what it was to find circulated notes with folds in them is quite common as they will have been fitted into a wallet what I will say about these notes is I like them LOL and would be more than happy to own items in such condition :thumb:
thanks, my self grades for these notes are all about XF-45 except for the purple one, which is probably lower
