I've recently added the 1893 5 fun (small letters) and the 1896 5 fun (big letters). These two coins were somewhat difficult to track down I wasn't expecting this 5 fun collection to be such a difficult challenge in particular with all the varieties and the 1899 5 fun which is a 4 figure coin! Nice. Are these mostly copper based? The designs are very appealing, but at four figures, there must be an added attraction. I have some old Chinese trade silver. I do not know much about them. What I have read, I do not fully trust (a gut feeling only). I am enjoying my pieces for their historical significance. They mark a time in history - coin production history in China. Nice Pics.
