Just for an anecdotal aside--one of the reasons I love Morgan Dollars so much is definitely related to the fact that my grandfather on my Dad's side was a furrier, and they used to give their family and friends circulated Morgan Dollars as tokens. In addition, while doing my ancestry online, I found that my grandfather was born in September, 1882, in Austria. So, I guess that kind of pushed me in the direction of Morgans. Just an anecdote.
